A dog is believed to have been stolen from Armagh.
Ellie, a Yorkie Chihuahua cross, has been missing from the Cathedral Road area since yesterday morning. She’s believed to have been take sometime between 7:15am and 8am.
Police now believe she was stolen, due to the gate she was behind having been previously ‘marked’. It was found kicked in yesterday morning.
If you see Ellie for sale or abandoned anywhere, please phone the police immediately.
“If she has indeed been stolen she could be anywhere by now,” said a police spokesperson.
And police have issued a message for the thieves:
If you’re reading this and you have her, this is a family pet you have. Hand her in to a local shop, leave her somewhere safe and make an anonymous call, or do the right thing and hand her to your local police station…whatever you need to do, this girl needs to be home with her family.
