Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council’s Best Kept Garden 2018 winners have been announced at a celebration event in Antrim Castle Gardens.
Over 50 entries were received and picking a winner proved to be a tough job for the judges! The council would like to thank everyone who took part. Congratulations go to the winners and runners up: –
Best Kept Garden
Winner – William Crawford, Templepatrick
Runner up – Colin Mitchell, Doagh
Best Kept Front/Container Garden
Winner – Sara McLaughlin, Jordanstown
Runner up – Noel McCreight, Antrim
Best Kept School Grounds
Winner – Ballycraigy Primary School
Runner up – Ballyclare High School
Best Kept Commercial Premises
Winner – McKeown’s Jewellers, Randalstown
Runner up – Budding Designs, Randalstown
Best Kept Community Planting
Winner – Clonmore House Care Home, Rathcoole completed by 16th Newtownabbey Boys Brigade
Runner up – Schools area at Viewpoint, Randalstown
