‘Extended period’ of remote learning for children

Pupils will continue with remote learning for an extended period in Northern Ireland, the NI Executive has said.

The update follows a meeting of ministers on Monday night in line with England and Scotland’s tightening of restrictions due to a rapid rise in coronavirus cases.

The stay at home guidance is set to be enforced legally.

Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill said details would be made public today (Tuesday).

Questions also remain over the examination situation.
