A fire that extensively damaged changing rooms at Institute Football Club’s grounds is being treated as arson.
The incident at Drumahoe in Co Londonderry last night (Friday) is believed to have involved an oil tank.
Fifteen firefighters fought the blaze which raged for two hours from around 10pm onwards.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Police are investigating the fire and are appealing for information.
Photographs showing the blaze appeared on social media last night.
Inspector Louise Cummings said police are treating this fire as suspicious.
"I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime," she added.
