The funeral of Darren Keys who was killed in a high-speed crash at the Walderstown Road Races in Co Westmeath on Sunday, will take place on Friday (July 19).
A service will be held in Ballylinney Presbyterian Church at noon and Darren will be burled in Ballyclare Cemetery.
The family is requesting casual clothes and bikers’ team clothing to be worn at the service.
Afterwards, refreshments will be served at Ballyclare Rugby Club, The Cloughan.
Donations in lieu, if desired, will go to the Air Ambulance NI c/o Fleming and Cuthbert Funeral Directors, 141 Mill Road, Ballyclare.
In a post in tribute to Darren, his wife Justine wrote: My heart is completely shattered into a million pieces. Not only were u my hubby but also my best friend and the most loving guy I cud ever have wish for ? I will cherish every memory we had together and as a family and ensure our 2 beautiful babies will never forget their amazing daddy. I will do everything I can to bring them up to make u an even more prouder daddy than u already are. Ur smile lit up every room and u touched the heart of so many people but u have left our wee home full of broken hearts. We will love and miss you forever.
