Funeral of Noah Donohoe to take place on Wednesday

The funeral of Noah Donohoe will take place this Wednesday (July 1).

It will be held in St Patrick’s Church at Donegall Street in Belfast and will be strictly private due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.


The 14-year-old’s body was discovered in a storm drain in North Belfast on Saturday morning. He had been missing for almost a week. During the six days, the police made numerous appeals and local people came together to search for Noah.

Donations in lieu of flowers will go to Northern Ireland Action for Children, c/o O’Kanes Funeral Directors.

In the death notice, Noah’s family stated: Noah was taken into the loving arms of God on the week of 21st June 2020.

Noah’s beautiful pure young soul fills the hearts of his Mother Fiona, his aunts Niamh and Shona and their beautiful children and his uncle Gearoid.

He comforts his grandparents Margot, Gerry and Linda and his beautiful strong friends. He will be safe in the hugs of his aunt Siobhan in heaven.

Noah’s love was great enough to reach the selfless hearts of North Belfast and beyond as they showed overwhelming compassion and empathy in bringing Noah home.

Love has no boundaries.

Noah was blessed to be a part of the St. Malachy’s family “Gloria ab intus”.
