Over-accessorising your car can often drive you in the wrong direction – toward the eyes of the law.
It happened to one motorist whose fluffy steering wheel cover, and handbrake and gear stick accessories caught the attention of the police.
Despite looking pretty, there are safety issues when it comes to this heightened personalisation.
“There’s a limit to how ‘fur’, I mean far, you should personalise your car!
“This driver struggled to read their instrument display, including speedometer and due to their lowered seat position, the road ahead. Sprucing up your vehicle can never come at the expense of safety,” said a police spokesperson.
