A handbag containing a sum of cash has been stolen from a car parked outside Feystown Cemetery near Glenarm.
Police are appealing for information following the incident which happened yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. The window of the car was smashed by the thief or thieves.
The bag which was stolen is red and has the word PRADA on the side of it.
Police say the theft occurred sometime between 3.55pm and 4.30pm.
Constable Potter is asking anyone who has any information about this incident to contact police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
