Lead has been stolen from the roof of a church at Bay Road in Carnlough.
It’s believed this theft occurred sometime between Wednesday (25 September) and Thursday (26 September).
Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious, or anyone who is offered lead to get in touch.
“I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in and around this church during these dates or anyone who is offered lead for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 458 28/09/19.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” said Sergeant Alan Lowry.
