A lorry overturned leaving Larne shortly after 7.30pm on Sunday evening.
It happened on the A8.
Police in Larne are appealing for witnesses following the incident.
Officers are also keen to speak with the drivers of a blue Volvo car and a black Audi A3 car which they believe were travelling from Pound Street onto the A8, out of Larne at the time of the collision.
The single vehicle collision caused severe traffic disruption to traffic until 2am on Monday morning.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and would appeal for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to contact them in Larne on 101 quoting reference number 1307 28/03/21.
