A 36-year-old woman is due in court on charges arising out of an incident in which an older person was the victim of fraud.
The woman is due to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates Court on April 29.
She has been charged with fraud by false representation, possession of articles for use in fraud and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
The charges relate to an incident on December 7, 2020 when an older person became the victim of fraud.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
Police would encourage the public to continue to exercise vigilance with regards to potential scams or fraudulent activity.
