A 20-year-old man is due in court on Friday after a police vehicle was reportedly damaged in the Ross Road area of west Belfast on Wednesday.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court, charged with driving when unfit through drink or drugs, driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He is also charged with aggravated vehicle taking in which vehicle is driven dangerously and aggravated vehicle taking causing damage. Further charges include causing damage to another vehicle, and causing damage to property, resisting police and assault on police.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges follow an incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night.
