Man (25) arrested following stabbing in Belfast city centre

A 25-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing in Belfast city centre in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 17 July).

Police say a man was attacked by two other men in a flat in the Ulster Street area of the city just before 2am.


Officers responded and the victim was found with cuts on his head and arms.

He was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

A 25-year-old man was arrested by officers a short time later.

He has since been released on conditional bail.
