A man, aged 29, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary following an incident in South Belfast this morning (Friday, 27 December).
Police received a report just before 6am this morning informing them that the occupant of a property in Coolfin Street had disturbed two men who were in his living room.
Detectives investigating the burglary in south Belfast during the early hours of today are appealing for witnesses and information.
Detective Sergeant Arnott said once disturbed, the suspects ran off.
“It is not known at this time if anything has been taken.
“Officers attended the scene and subsequently arrested a man, aged 29, on suspicion of offences including burglary. He remains in custody at this time.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and saw any suspicious activity to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 574 of 27/12/19,” added Detective Sergeant Arnott.
