Officers investigating a report of arson at a flat in the Mount area of east Belfast have charged a 37-year-old man with a number of offences, including arson endangering life with intent.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, 18 September).
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
A 24-year-old man also arrested has been released on bail pending further police enquiries.
