Man (48) arrested following series of burglaries in Carnmoney and Glengormley

A 48-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries which occurred in Carnmoney and Glengormley on Monday morning.

Between 6am and 8am, seven houses and garages were either entered, or entry was attempted, in the Beverley Road, Church Park and Beechgrove Crescent areas.


A number of items were taken, including two cars – a BMW and a Jeep, which have both since been recovered.

Detective Sergeant McDowell said enquiries are continuing.
