A man is due to appear in court following an alleged assault in Carrickfergus last week.
Detectives investigating a report of an assault at the Blackthorn Park area last Friday (24 April) have charged a 28-year-old man with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday 27 May. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The man was arrested on Friday 1 May as part of the ongoing police investigation.
A 28-year-old man who was also arrested on Friday 1 May, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
