A 36-year-old man is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday) following the discovery of around £1m worth of drugs in Antrim yesterday.
Detectives from PSNI’s C1 Organised Crime Branch arrested the man yesterday (Wednesday).
He’s been charged with a number of offences including fraudulently importing Class B controlled drug, illegal entry to the United Kingdom and possession of Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
