A 32-year-old man is due to appear in court on charges arising out of an alleged samurai sword attack in Larne.
He is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court this morning (Monday, June 3). He has been charged with common assault, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and theft.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of driving when unfit through drink or drugs and using a vehicle without insurance has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
