A man in his 70s was left badly shaken after three masked men pushed their way into his Ballymena home and searched the rooms before leaving.
The incident happened at a house in the Waring Street area last night (Tuesday 12 November).
Police say three men, wearing masks and baseball caps, pushed their way past the occupant, a man aged in his 70’s, at around 6.45pm.
The men conducted a search of various rooms in the house but nothing is believed to have been taken at this time. They made off on foot in the direction of Moat Road following the incident, which left the occupant uninjured but badly shaken.
Detectives would ask that anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information which could assist them with their enquiries to contact them at Ballymena on 101 quoting reference number 1566 12/11/19.
