A man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries following a serious assault in Kilkeel.
Detectives are investigating the incident that occurred at Harley’s Bar at around 9:30pm on Thursday (February 7).
Police are keen to talk to anyone who was in the bar on Thursday night and who witnessed the assault. They also want to hear from anyone who has seen any posts on social media.

“Do you have any phone footage from the time/since?
“Have you heard any chat about this incident or seen anything on social media?” said a police spokesperson.
