A man has been arrested following a serious assault in Armagh in which a man was knocked unconscious.
The incident happened at a property in Orangefield Close at around 11.50pm last night (Sunday). A 32-year-old man was unconscious, having sustained injuries to his face and body.
He was taken to hospital where his condition this morning is described as critical but stable.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody at present.
Police are continuing to investigate.
