Masked men claiming to be from a paramilitary organisation restrained a woman in her 70s and stole a sum of money from her Broughshane home.
The burglary happened at a house at Creevamoy Road shortly after 8pm yesterday.
Police say the men who were wearing dark clothing searched the house for around an hour and left by climbing a gate behind the property.
Police are investigating the incident.
The woman was not injured but was left shaken following the incident.
Detectives are investigating and would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact them in Ballymena on 101 quoting reference number 1787 03/12/19.
