No COVID-19 deaths recorded for second consecutive day

For the second day running, no deaths have been reported as a result of COVID-19.

There are six new positive cases.


It is the third time since 18 March that a daily update from the Department of Health has shown no new deaths within a 24 hour period.

The death toll remains at 537 which is mostly comprised of hospital deaths.

People shielding from COVID-19 will be allowed outdoors from today (Monday).

The welcomes news comes as lockdown restrictions are eased across Northern Ireland.
