A further person has died as a result of COVID-19 in Northern Ireland.
There are 424 new cases, a record number since daily statistics began.
It comes as Northern Ireland is set to be on course for 1,000 positive cases each day within weeks, according to senior medics.
Professor Ian Young said that the number of cases is ‘doubling around every nine to ten days.’
