That’s according to figures just released by the Department of Health.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 is far more deadly and contagious than flu, according to medical experts. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that influenza has resulted in between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010. COVID-19 has resulted in over 200,000 deaths in the US since January.
