Over 40 firefighters are currently dealing with a gorse fire in the Drinnahilly Mountain area close to Tollymore Forest Park in Newcastle.
Eight fire appliances and specialist wildfire officers are currently dealing with the blaze. The incident has affected approximately ten acres of gorse.
Crews are working to bring it under control and firefighting operations are likely to continue throughout the day.
