Paint hurled at Ballymena GAA club in ‘wanton attack’

Paint has been thrown at the All Saints GAA building near Ballymena.

It has been condemned as a ‘wanton attack’ by the SDLP in North Antrim.

Pictures show what looks like blue paint bombs having been hurled at the club rooms on the Woodside Road.

“A sporting facility that is run by volunteers and provides for vast numbers of local people from every age group, seven days week. A wanton attack, with no rationale or reason. I urge those involved to stop immediately and think long and hard about what it is they think they are achieving,” said an SDLP spokesperson.
