Police came under attack last night by youths throwing glass bottles and masonry in the City Cemetery in West Belfast.
They were responding to reports of young people driving a stolen motorcycle dangerously in the cemetery. Some graves were also reportedly damaged during the incident.
Police recovered the motorcycle.
They say people walking in the area were put at significant risk.
And they are continuing to ask parents to be wary of where their children are and who they are with.
“One young person was taken home and enquires are ongoing to identify the driver of the motorcycle. Parents, once again we urge you to ensure you know where your kids are and who they are with. If you have information please call us on 101, quoting reference 933 11/05/19,” added a police spokesperson.
