A post mortem will take place on Wednesday on the body of teenager Nora Quoirin who was found dead near her holiday accommodation in Malaysia.
The 15-year-old had gone missing over a week ago and fears were mounting for her welfare. A day after offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to her safe return, the family had to face their worst fears.
Nora’s body was found near a waterfall during the second search of an area just over a mile from The Dusun.
According to the New Straits Times, the post-mortem examination will be conducted at the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital at 10am local time.
State police chief Datuk Mohamad Mat Yusop said they have requested a senior pathologist from Kuala Lumpur to conduct the post mortem.
Nora’s parents, Sebastien and Meabh, had earlier identified the body as their missing daughter.
The teenager disappeared one day after the family arrived in Malaysia for a two-week holiday.
