A suspected firearm has been recovered in Ballymena this afternoon (Friday 20 September).
It follows a report of a suspicious object in Orkney Drive around 2pm today.
Police and army technical officers are in the area and Orkney Drive has been closed from Rona Gardens to Shetland Gardens.
