Three due in court following filling station robbery in north Belfast

Two men and a woman are expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 May following a robbery at a filling station on the Crumlin Road.

The 22-year-old man is charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug.

The 19-year-old woman and 33-year-old man are both charged with burglary (non-dwelling) and handling stolen goods.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

“We are continuing to appeal to anyone who was in the area or saw any suspicious activity at the time to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 90 21/04/20. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime,” added Inspector Paul Noble.
