Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a 21-year-old man in Antrim.
The men, two aged 20 and one aged 22, are in custody on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug.
The 21-year-old man was allegedly assaulted in the communal area of a property in Barra Street.
This alleged incident occurred at around 10.25am yesterday (Saturday, October 6).
Police later carried out searches in the Springfarm area – a number of items were seized, including a stun gun and suspected drugs.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed this assault or anyone who has any information that would assist police enquiries to contact detectives at Antrim on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 444 06/10/18.
