A warning for thunderstorms is in force until 9pm tonight (Wednesday).
With the intense heat building localised thunderstorms have been developing this afternoon. These will continue to develop throughout this afternoon and into this evening, says the NI Weather and Flood Advisory Service.
Some places will however remain dry.
\Where thunderstorms do occur you can expect torrential rainfall with risk of flooding, lightning, and possible localised interruptions to power supplies.
