Total madness!

Three girls, believed to be teenagers, are reported to have been on the railway tracks in Antrim last night (Thursday).

Police have branded this as ‘total madness.’

The PSNI is now asking people to stay off the railway tracks – that applies to motorists too.

“You’d be surprised at the amount of reports we get about that and cars breaching level crossings,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

The warning comes as British Transport Police put out a warning about ‘reckless behaviour’ where people are blindfolding themselves and walking onto railway tracks. The so called ‘Birdbox Challenge’ has been criticised as a dangerous prank.
