Two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, were injured after being assaulted by a gang of men in Randalstown in what police say was a ‘vicious’ attack.
The 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital where he is being treated for serious facial injuries following the incident which happened in Neillsbrook Park last night (Saturday, 28 November) at around 9.30pm.
The 17-year-old sustained minor injuries.
Detectives are currently working to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.
Detective Inspector Boyd said this was an extremely vicious attack with one of the youths sustaining very serious injuries.
