First, the big news this week is that The Killers are making something of a comeback.
The Killers are set to play Belfast this summer.
The Las Vegas based band which has millions of fans worldwide has been announced as headliners at Ormeau Park as part of the popular Belsonic festival.
The gig takes place on June 25. Tickets are priced £45 plus booking fee and they go on sale this Friday (March 29) at 9am from Ticketmaster outlets.
Their secret set at Glastonbury 2017 proved such a hit, the band was named headliners for the 2019 festival. They will join The Cure.

At Rowallane Gardens in Co Down, there will be a flower pressing session where you can learn about the techniques. The gardeners will show you how and why it’s important to press flowers, and share a few tips on how to speed up the process. This promises to be great fun for families. It runs from 11am to noon on Saturday, March 30.
Also on Saturday, there is an allotment open day at Springhill from noon until 4pm. You can meet the community allotment family at Springhill in Moneymore and pick up some top tips. There will be live music, herb potting for the kids, guided gardening for wildlife walks, competition for the tallest sunflower…and much more. Great day out for all ages. The first 50 visitors into the allotments will receive a complimentary mocktail so arrive early and stay on for the cutting of the celebratory cake.

You can see Tim Peake’s spacecraft at the Ulster Museum in Cultra up until Sunday, May 12. The capsule transported European Space Agency astronaut, Tim Peake, and his crewmates Yuri Malenchenko and Tim Kopra to the International Space Station on the Principia mission. It departed on 15 December 2015 and returned to Earth on 18 June 2016. The Soyuz has been travelling across the UK as part of a national tour presented by global technology company Samsung and the Science Museum Group. This exhibition, which is suitable for all ages, is free and visitors will have the opportunity to get up close to the capsule and see the full-equipped interior as well as the char marks on the exterior which show the result of the impact of the Earth’s atmosphere on the spacecraft during its descent from space. Alongside the exhibition, visitors will be able to re-live the descent from space from the eyes of an astronaut through a unique virtual reality experience. Using the latest Samsung Gear VR technology, it enables visitors to experience what it feels like to sit inside the Soyuz’s descent module as it makes its dangerous high-speed journey back to Earth. This fully immersive experience is narrated by Tim Peake himself. Space Descent VR is suitable for visitors aged 13 years and over and tickets can be bought on the day for £6 per person.
