A female driver and a passenger were injured after several young men hurled objects at her car just outside Antrim.
The incident happened at approximately 6.15pm last Monday (October 1)
The woman was driving a Silver Nissan Note. As she approached the junction with the Seven Mile Straight, this incident forced her to do an emergency stop, resulting in minor injuries to herself and one of the passengers.
Minor damage was also caused to the bonnet and roof of the car.
Police say if the driver had not reacted in good time, the end result could’ve been a lot more serious.
They are appealing for witnesses.
