The man who died following a stabbing in west Belfast on Tuesday night (March 1) was 38-year-old Jim Crossley.
It happened at a property in Filbert Drive just before midnight.
Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin said Mr Crossley was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 31-year-old woman has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court via video link on Thursday. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
