A woman in her 80s is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Killyleagh.
The incident happened shortly after 1.15pm at Plantation Street.
Plantation Street has now reopened to traffic.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Plantation Street and who witnessed the collision to contact officers in Downpatrick on 101 quoting reference 522 15/01/19.
