X Factor was forced to cancel its public vote following sound issues which affected the show on Saturday night.
Viewers complained that sound was distorted and that the performers sounded like ‘daleks.’
ITV has since apologised and said the vote will go ahead on tonight’s show instead (Sunday).
It is thought to be the first time the public vote has been cancelled in the show’s 15-year history.

A message appeared during the show which read: We are sorry for the temporary interference in sound.
Another message read: Due to a technical issue, tonight’s vote has been cancelled. It will open in tomorrow night’s show.
