Police have arrested four men following an alleged assault on a man in Broughshane.
Detectives are appealing for information following the incident which is reported to have happened at Whinsmoor Park between 8:30pm and 9:30pm last night (Saturday, 29 September).
Police say the man was walking along Whinsmoor Park and a car drew up and a number of men got out. They then reportedly assaulted him with what he believes to have been a metal bar.
Police have since arrested four men aged 31, 40, 56 and 58 on suspicion of a number of offences. They all remain in police custody at this time.
