DUP senior party members are currently meeting to discuss the future of North Antrim MP Ian Paisley.
It follows his 30-day suspension from Westminster after he failed to declare two family holidays in 2013, both of which were paid for by the Sri Lankan government. He then lobbied the prime minister on behalf of Sri Lanka.
Earlier in the week, Mr Paisley made an apology in the House of Commons and admitted ‘deep personal embarrassment’ following the incident.
Now Mr Paisley is facing calls to step down from his position.
