There’s good news on the jobs front as the unemployment rate in Northern Ireland has fallen to its lowest ever level.
A total of 3.1 per cent of the workforce were unemployed in the first quarter of this year.
That is lower than the UK rate which stands at 4.2%.
However, despite the good news this morning, Northern Ireland continues to have higher rates of economic inactivity than the rest of the UK.
