A woman has been arrested after a terrier called Rascal was allegedly stolen from Scarffe’s Entry in Omagh.
The 12-year-old dog went missing on December 18.
“Police are delighted to be able to report that with the help of the public, we have been able to reunite the lovely Rascal with his very grateful owner
“You may remember that Rascal, a 12-year-old terrier, was stolen from outside Poundstretcher in Omagh on 18th December.

“Hundreds of you shared our post and we received numerous reports of possible sightings over the past few days. All leads (pardon the pun) were followed up,” said a spokesperson.
Police said Strabane PSNI attended an address today (Saturday) and found Rascal.
One woman was arrested and is currently assisting police with enquiries.
“A big thank you to all of you who have taken the time to share our post and help Rascal return home in time for some Christmas treats!” added the spokesperson.
