Police investigating social media posts, believed to have been made as a band parade was taking place in Randalstown recently, have arrested a 35-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman.
A search of a house in the Station Road area of Randalstown was carried out today (Monday). The pair have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences and have been taken into custody for questioning.
A number of suspicious items have been located by officers as a result of the search at the scene and Station Road has been cordoned off to allow Army Technical Officers to fully examine the items.
There are no further details at present.
