Police investigating the murder of Inga Maria Hauser arrested two men in Loughguile, north Antrim early this morning (Monday).
The men are aged 58 and 61.
The 18-year-old German backpacker went missing after she arrived in Larne on 6 April 1988.
Her body was found two weeks later in a remote part of Ballypatrick Forest, near Ballycastle.
A fresh appeal for information was made last month on the 30th anniversary of Inga’s murder.
On 1 May police said they had received the results of further DNA testing.
