Police are continuing to appeal for information following a serious crash in Dunmurry on Sunday in which a man in his 80’s and a 4-year-old child were injured.
The child was in a push chair when they were hit by a car on the Upper Lisburn Road just before 4pm.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment for ‘serious’ injuries. The child was also taken to hospital for minor injuries.
A 37-year-old man who assisted with police has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Inspector Eastwood is appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage available to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 947 21/10/18.
