Teenagers have thrown fireworks inside a shopping mall in the Greystone area of Antrim.
Police said they received a report last week of fireworks being misused in Ballyclare. Now a second incident has occurred in Antrim.
With Halloween on the horizon, police are now issuing a stern, timely warning to young people to avoid getting involved in anti-social behaviour.
“The dangers are obvious and much more than a bit of craic for those involved. More on this subject in due course but take note if you are involved in this sort of anti social behaviour you risk much more than a criminal record,” said a spokesperson.
Last year, a schoolgirl picked up a toy pig shaped firework which then exploded in her hands.
The Dungannon girl was treated for serious burns to her hands and stomach after finding what she believed was a dog toy at playing fields in the town.
