Two men arrested by detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force, investigating the criminal activities of the INLA, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The two men, aged 34 and 35 old, were arrested following the recovery of a firearm and ammunition in west Belfast on Friday (11 September).
The firearm and the ammunition were taken away for forensic examination.
The investigation continues.
